Android players, which do you like the most - Star Wars or Google Play?

If you answered Star Wars to that question then I have some good news for you. The Silver Award-winning Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is now available on Android.

For those who answered Google Play then the bad news is that it's only available on the Amazon App Store right now.

Perhaps it'll come to Google Play in time as most games released on the Amazon App Store tend to. But, for now, you'll have to skip it or submit to your new Amazon overlords.

It'll cost you $8.39, which should be about £6, give or take.

In our review, we called The Complete Saga "[s]ome of the best family-friendly gaming seen in the past decade." Also adding that it's affordable but the controls could do with some work.
Android Police
1、Update 24.03.2020
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is now available for iOS. That said, the servers are currently down. It was originally scheduled to launch tomorrow, March 25th, for iOS and Android.
Original story
Square Enix's hotly anticipated strategy RPG, War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, is now open for pre-order on the App Store. It’s expected to launch next Wednesday, March 25th.

The game first launched in Japan last year, where it achieved over nine million downloads and charted within the top 5 titles on the App Store. Android pre-registrations opened late last month with a number of set goals.

Here are the rewards up for grabs:
50,000 registered users: 250 Visiore, Gil Snapper (L) x20100,000 registered users: 250 Visiore, NRG Restore (L) x5150,000 registered users: 250 Visiore, Weapon — Excalibur (UR)200,000 registered users: 250 Visiore, Vision Card — Aquatic Songstress, Siren (UR)250,000 registered users: 250 Visiore, Unit — Y'shtola (MR)300,000 registered users: 1,000 Visiore
Brave Exvius takes place on the war-torn continent of Ardra, where a number of nations are now battling to gain control. With so many lives at risk, it's down to you and your party of heroes to step in and save the day.

The story follows princes Mont and Sterne from the kingdom of Leonis and Machérie respectively. It's clearly heavily inspired by some of Square's classic titles, including Final Fantasy Tactics. The big difference here is that the entire thing has been built from the ground up for mobile devices, offering intuitive touchscreen controls and missions designed for on-the-go play.

Combat here is turn-based and aiming to be strategically demanding, requiring you to make smart use of terrain to outmanoeuvre your opponents. If you're struggling, you'll have powerful Espers to fall back on that can devastate the competition when used effectively.

3、"Yes, he sleeps--well," he added quietly. "Anne, Captain Jim has crossed the bar."
Developer Ustwo has shared the first screenshot of its promised update for Monument Valley, over on Twitter.

Executive producer Dan Gray says the level pack - which will be available as an in-app purchase inside the game - will include almost as much content as Monument Valley itself.

But the studio elected to launch the pack as an update rather than a full-blown sequel because it's new content for the original Monument Valley, rather than a radical evolutionary step from the first game.

But that's not to say that there's nothing new in this update, as each level should include a twist on the formula. One stage I played featured a nifty, mind-warping visual trick where the game could work even if you flipped the iPad upside down.

Ustwo will launch the update before the year is out. The studio is simultaneously working on these stages and VR game Land's End, but previously said the new game "in no way compromises those new [Monument Valley] levels we promised".

4、A CERTAIN rich man bought in the market a Goose and a Swan. He fed the one for his table and kept the other for the sake of its song. When the time came for killing the Goose, the cook went to get him at night, when it was dark, and he was not able to distinguish one bird from the other. By mistake he caught the Swan instead of the Goose. The Swan, threatened with death, burst forth into song and thus made himself known by his voice, and preserved his life by his melody.
2、
A lot of iOS games have gone missing lately and it's breaking our little hearts.

They're not just being pulled from the App Store, either. Many of them are being removed from your 'Purchased' list so you can't download them any longer.

There seem to be two main reasons why this is happening.

1) Firstly, the recent arrival of iOS 9 has meant that some games need tweaking to work on it. Some studios have removed these games while they try to fix them.

2) Publishers have been retiring the older games in their catalogues. This means they can focus their staff on creating new and hopefully more engaging games.

Rather than brush this off and forget about all those games, we'd like to try to remember them, and track the ones due to make a return.

To this end we've produced a mass list of all the iOS games that have gone missing in recent months.

Oh, and before we jump to it, remember to back up your downloaded games before they vanish forever.
Telltale Games
Telltale removed all of its games from the App Store apart from Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands.

Luckily, if you already bought them, you can still download these games from your 'Purchased' list.

We don't yet know why these games were removed but we've asked Telltale and hope to find out.

Here's the full list:
Back to the FutureHector trilogyJurassic ParkLaw & Order LegaciesTales of Monkey IslandPoker Night 2Puzzle Agent 1 & 2Sam and MaxThe Wolf Among UsThe Walking DeadDisney
Disney retired loads of its older smartphone games in order to provide better ones going forward.

This doesn't necessarily mean that these games have been pulled from sale on the App Store. But it does mean that Disney won't be updating them or providing support for them.

It's a big list of games so head over here to see them all.

The notable ones include The Secret of Monkey Island, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge, Tiny Death Star, and Star Wars Assault Team.
EA
In September, EA removed many of its older games so it could focus on "developing new and exciting titles."

The full lists are here and here if you want to check them out.

Otherwise, the games we'll miss the most include Flight Control, Mass Effect Infiltrator, Dead Space, Real Racing, and Spore Origins.
Konami
Konami also removed loads of its older smartphone games in September. This was due to not wanting to update them for new versions of iOS.

You can see the full list of those here. But the significant absences include Metal Gear Solid Touch, Silent Hill: The Escape, Crayon Physics Deluxe, and Bomberman Touch.
SEGA
Way back in May, Sega was among the first this year to remove a bunch of its older games. And it was a lot of them, too.

It wasn't only old smartphone games either, but many of Sega's classic Mega Drive ports, such as Altered Beast, Ecco the Dolphin, Golden Axe, and Streets of Rage.

The reason given for this was due to these games apparently not meeting Sega's standards any longer.

You can see the full list of games here but here are the ones that hurt the most (excluding the Mega Drive classics):
After Burner ClimaxJet Set RadioSuper Monkey Ball seriesCrazy TaxiChuChu RocketVirtua Tennis ChallengeSpellwoodBioShock
2K Games removed BioShock from the App Store back in July as it was incompatible with iOS 8.4.

Then, in September, BioShock was removed from peoples' 'Purchased' lists so it couldn't even be downloaded.

However, it will apparently make a return to the App Store once 2K has fixed it for iOS 9. Let's hope that's the case.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective has been on and off the App Store more times than you've got in and out of bed. Okay, that's an exaggeration. But you get the point.

Capcom has had a lot of problems with bugs inside the game that render it unplayable.

Last we knew, Ghost Trick had been fixed for iOS 8 at long last. But, more recently, Capcom has entirely removed from 'Purchased' lists.

We don't know why yet. It might have something to do with iOS 9, perhaps.
SpaceChem
Zachtronics removed its puzzler SpaceChem from the App Store and 'Purchased' lists as it was incompatible with iOS 9.

We also found out that Zachtronics's developer license had expired at around the same time. So it was a double whammy.
SpaceChem should return once Zachtronics has it fixed for iOS 9. So keep an eye out for it.
